Terrible customer service. Drivers cancel and customer gets charged the fee
Bolt drivers are con artists. You book a trip with them then they take the longest route then over charge you without your consent. I asked my driver to go a certain way & he decided to take a different route. When I complained to bolt they said they can see he had taken the longer route, but can’t do anything about it as the trip has already happened. I will be deleting the app & I will be using UBER from now on at least the charge you what is agreed at the beginning of the trip. Customer service won’t do anything. Bunch of scammers.

Bolts app couldn’t be worse if they tried. It sent its drivers to the wrong road despite me literally typing in my exact post-code and address. They then charged me double the price for cancelling because their system is completely inept. Ultimately I had to get a Uber costing me further money and I was late for work. First and last time I ever use this pathetic services. The owners are crooks and thieves.
Takes forever for a driver to turn up and they cancel frequently with no penalty
The worst company probably, sometimes I am thinking that they are stupid by purpose, I don’t think somebody can do everything so unprofessional! The riders are not happy ,the drivers are not happy too, avoid

This company is quite happy to allow your card to be used fraudulently, allowing for an impossible amount of journeys to be charged in quick succession. Then when your bank blocks the card, they submit a subscription request to access your new card details and carry on charging! Clearly they not only have no fraud detection capabilities, but are complicit in allowing it to happen.
If you see fraudulent charges from this company, when you speak to your bank, ensure they put a stop with the card provider (i.e. MasterCard) to prevent any subscription requests.

Drivers always linger or drive the other way without cancelling because the app penalises them for cancelling. So they have to wait for you to cancel. This process has wasted my time on numerous occasions and has made me late to work countless times at this point. Honestly one of the worst taxi apps if you need to be somewhere. Probably faster to just take the train or bus.
As a driver after giving an excellent service the Driver rating keeps on falling.Bolt has a pathetic rating system in place with no explanation what's wrong and how to improve the rating. Worst company and app ever worked for.
The worse taxi experience ever always late, many times never show up. The customer service is useless. The app is written by an incompetent coder. Avoid at all cost.
The drivers are thieves.........how can a ride be 700 -- 1000 Naira.....at maximum, on a free road, no traffic, end up as 1900 Naira, at the end of the trip????????????????.
I think bolt, should rebuild their app, your drivers are cheating us. They are using cheat.
Had the worst experience from a bolt driver (Abass) in Accra, Ghana, today - reg. plate 4753 - 13.
He had an item to deliver to my destination (i.e. after giving him my location) and decided to follow his own route despite continuous follow up with him.
In the end, he arrived with an inflated bill... and because the alternative was for the sender to take care of the cost reluctantly, I had to pay for it annoyingly.
This is extremely terrible, Bolt!!!
